Q.
How do I know if a property is still available?
A.If the property is listed on our website, it is
available. Since we continually receive applications,
there could be an application in processing status
for any property shown on the website.
Q. How do I see a property?
A.Call our office at 704-846-4668 to schedule an
appointment. Leasing agents show our properties to
prespective tenants.
We do not provide keys to our properties.
Q. How much is your application fee?
A.$35.00 per applicant paid by cash, money order,
certified bank check or PayPal.
Q. How do I apply for a rental?
A. You can obtain applications at our office (get
directions) or on our website,
or you can complete and submit an application online.
You will need to provide the following information
along with a completed application:

A copy of your driver’s license
(or other photo ID)

A $35 application fee per applicant
(cash, money order, certified bank check or PayPal)

If you are currently employed,
a copy of your most recent pay stub

If you are self-employed, a copy
of your most recent Federal tax return and a copy
of your most recent bank statement
-
If you are beginning a new job,
a copy of your job offer letter from your new employer
Q. How long does it take to process my application?
A. Once your application, application fee and all
required information has been provided, your application
will be processed. We will email or call you within
one business day to let you know the status of your
application.
Q. What are the rental requirements?

All applicants must have verifiable
income of at least three times the monthly rental
rate

Any non-employment (government,
child support, etc) income must be verifiable and
guaranteed for the term of the Rental Agreement
-
Applicants must have a history
of satisfactory payments with previous landlords
-
Applicants must have provided
sufficient notice-to-vacate to their previous landlord
-
Credit Bureau Reports are used
to substantiate proof of good credit
-
Judgments, collections and evictions
are considered bad credit
Q. Where do I make a rental payment?
A. You can make a payment in person at our local office
in Matthews, NC, or you can pay online by *
PayPal. If making payments through Paypal you
will be required to include a
3% processing fee, or you can mail your payment
to:

* If you use PayPal to make your
payment, you must add a 3% courtesy fee to your payment
amount. Not including the 3% courtesy fee may cause
you to incur late fees because of an under-paid rental
payment.
Q. What is the length of your Rental Agreements?
A. Generally, 12 months, but longer terms are available.
Q. Can you 'hold' a property?
A. Within 2 days of an applicant’s approval for a
property, a Rental Agreement must be signed and the
security deposit paid. Once the Rental Agreement is
signed and the security deposit is paid, the property
will be removed from the website and 'held' for the
tenant for up to 15 days.
Q. Can I have pets?
A. Property owners reserve the right to prohibit
or limit the number, size and type of pets allowed
in a property

If pets are allowed in a property,
they are limited to a maximum weight of 20 pounds

If pets are allowed in a property,
a $250.00 per pet non-refundable pet fee is required
to be paid

Some breeds of dogs are considered
to be vicious and are prohibited as a condition
of property insurance. Prohibited breeds include
Akita, Chow, Pit Bull, Rottweiler & Shar Pei
Q. What if I have special circumstances that
I need to tell you?
A. Put your special circumstances in writing with your
application.
Q. What is best method of communication during
the application process?
A. We prefer that your use email at rentals@tntproperties.com.
We will reply within one business day. We normally will
only communicate with one applicant in your party or
